Backup

Backup protects your cheque designs, issued-cheque records, vouchers, deposits and other saved information. Regular backups are strongly recommended.

Create a backup

1. Open Backup from the main menu.
2. Check the backup location shown on the screen.
3. Choose Browse when you need to select another folder.
4. Choose Backup.
5. Wait until the backup operation finishes. Do not close the application during the backup.
6. Copy important backups to a safe location outside the computer when possible.

Restore

Database restore is a sensitive operation because it replaces current data with the contents of a backup. End users should perform a restore only when instructed by their administrator or Linkway support.
